I Hate Your Morality

Well, it looks as if it's over. The concession call has been made and the announcement is coming shortly. Now that it's all said done, I have some thoughts on the state of political affairs.

First and definitely the most important. It disgusted me and pissed me off to see ten states in this day and age vote against gay marriage. What the hell... For the record, I'm about as straight as straight gets and there aint no man or amount of money in the world that could ever get me to do anything of a sexual nature with a woman. But. But but but.

Who the HELL are we or anyone else to tell two people who have fallen in love that they can't be together and be recognised by law? I don't have the proper words to explain how much it angers me that people are placing constitutional amendments on gay marriage. In today's world?? Kids can't friggin' read, everyone's doped up on zombie pills, people can't find jobs but HEY, let's cram our morality down your throat and define marriage as a heterosexual only union.

Up yours, bub.

I really find this offensive on a personal level. I really don't like people sticking their morals in my bedroom or my home lifestyle and I don't recall asking stodgy politicians to define marriage for me.

This really makes me sick, this came off the CNN website: "Millions of people understand that it's not bigotry to believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, and it's not right-wing to think that children need a mother and a father, not two mothers and two fathers," said Gary Bauer, president of American Values, a group opposed to same-sex marriage."

Exfuckenscuse me? Yes, moron, it is bigotry and arrogance to assume the responsibility of defining marriage. I don't see it as a union between a man and a woman, I see it as a union between two people in love who want to exclusively be with each other.

As for children. What a load of shit that is! Yes, I do believe the kids today are getting screwed. But they're getting screwed by their heterosexual parents who trust their mental health to non-qualified counselours at school. Parents who instead of the TV have discovered the internet makes a wonderful surrogate parent. Parents who don't have the time to read to their kids because they're too busy working to maintain the two BMWs and the lifestyle they can't afford. LOOK AROUND, the kids are already lost and it has nothing to do with Heather having two mommies.

I really hope this idiocy wakes people up. So much talk of the "youth vote" that never panned out, the youth should be outraged at their home states. I know this has motivated me to research gay rights groups and to become involved in doing something about this archaic horseshit.

Into the WebKittyn Dumbass Hall of Shame we induct the following states:

Risk

"The casement window blows open. The nightmare has eluded the guards. It's over the spiked wall and it's in here with you. This lights go out. The temperature drops sharply. The bones in your body sigh. You're all alone with it. Circling with your back to the wall. Hey, don't be a nasty little coward; face it and disembowel it. You've got time. You've always had time, but the fear slowed you, and you were overcome. But this is the hour that stretches...and you've got a chance. After all, it's only your consciense come to kill you. Stop shivering and put up your dukes. You might beat it this time, now that you know you have some breathing space. For in this special hour anything that has ever happened will happen again. Except, this time it's turn to risk it all."

Symbiosis

"Did you have one of those days today, like a nail in the foot? Did the pterodactyl corpse dropped by the ghost of your mother from the spectral Hindenburg forever circling the Earth come smashing through the lid of your glass coffin? Did the New York strip steak you attacked at dinner suddenly show a mouth filled with needle-sharp teeth, and did it snap off the end of your fork, the last solid-gold fork Anastasia pressed into your hands as they took her away to be shot? Is the slab under your apartment building moaning that it cannot stand the weight on its back a moment longer, and is the building stretching and creaking? Did a good friend betray you today, or did that good friend merely keep silent and refuse to come to your aid? Are you holding the razor at your throat this very instant? Take heart, comfort is at hand. This is the hour that stretches. Djam karet. We are the cavalry. We're here. Put away the pills. We'll get you through this bloody night. Next time, it'll be your turn to help us."

Take Heed

"This is an emergency bulletin. We've made a few necessary alterations to the status quo. For the next few weeks there will be no madness; no imbecile beliefs; no paralogical, prelogical or paleological thinking. No random cruelty. For the next few weeks all the impaired mentalities will be frozen in stasis. No attempts to get you to believe that vast and cool intelligences come from space regularly in circular vehicles. No runaway tales of yetis, sasquatches, hairy shamblers of a lost species. No warnings that the cards, the stones, the running water or the stars are against your best efforts. This is the time known in Indonesia as djam karet - the hour that stretches. For the next few weeks you can breathe freely and operate off these words by one who has learned to late, by one who has gone away, who was called Camus: "It is not man who must be protected, but the possibilities within him." You have a few weeks without hindrance. Move quickly."
