Call to Arms - Help Save Linus!

Help save Linus.

I can totally relate to this and I know I'm not the only one. I know my friends and the people who read this so I'm posting it on the warbles and facebook and I'm looking at YOU. You know who you are. Here's something to think about.

A friend of mine, Mango, is trying desperately to find a home for his dad's cat Linus. Linus is by all counts a good cat who at 13 years old deserves some good golden years. Unfortunately due to circumstance, Mango's dad can no longer keep Linus and if Linus doesn't get a home....

Linus is 13, an alpha cat and has diabetes. He requires insulin and needs to be fed twice a day at regular 12 hour intervals. He may or may not need insulin on a permanent basis but for now there are shots required. He currently lives in the Buffalo, NY area.

Linus has been cleared to fly short term (that's why I'm looking at YOU, my local cat loving friends) and would be done so at no cost. Insulin and food costs for as long as Linus is alive and with you would also be covered and if you trust me, trust me when I tell you it's okay to believe Mango. If he says he's going to do something it gets done. Saving Linus is worth a few bucks to Mango and you will not incur costs for your kindness.

It's hard to place a special needs alpha into a home, I would take him myself but I've already got 4 and three of them think they're alphas so it wouldn't go over well but I know there has to be a good hearted soul out there somewhere. Hell, I've got kidney damage. I'd hate to think no one wanted me because of that. It's a bit of work but it's worth it for the love and the good juju of saving an animal's life.

You don't need to decide right now. Take a few minutes and look at Linus, look at that face and then think if you can find a place in your home and heart for him.

I'd like to see something end happy for a change, there's been so much death and sadness this year I'd really like to see something end on a good note. If you think you might be interested in Linus or in talking to Mango about Linus, email me. I'll pass it right along!

So something good, help save Linus. If you can't do it, go tell that friend of yours about Linus. You know, the crazy cat-lover friend who loves their cats more than people!
