Fact Two - I’m a Head Banger at Heart
As much as I love the music of the 80's..
Fact Two: I'm a die-heard head banger at heart.
I came out of the womb to parents who lived for old-school country but I quickly discovered the glory of hard rock and roll.
I grew up banging my head to Sabbath, Priest, Maiden, Dio, Led Zep, King Diamond, ACDC, Foreigner, etc. As long as it was hard and it was loud it was for me. I used to say the ideal guy for me was a 'long haired heavy metal sleazebag.' I think I used Ozzy's first three solo albums to get me through all my teen angst.
I still resort back to my heavy metal roots when stressed. Out come the classics and up goes the volume and let the music race through my veins and soothe my mind. I don't know if I'd get through some of the shit life throws at me without having good old hard music to blast.
Take tonight. I had a run-in with an asshat tonight and it ended it my removing my imm character. Pissed me off to no end so I ran to winamp and out came the classics. Pink Floyd "The Trial," "Bark at the Moon" and others. I think there was even some Ratt in there.
I may love Euro symphonic metal and new wave oldies and hell, even crunk but my heart and soul belong to hard rock and roll.
