Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon
Yah, right. Where is this lazing?
I've been fighting the urge to post a very long rant about a particular company I've had the misfortune of having to deal with this past week. I assure you none of the week-long horse hooey is my fault, either the gypsy I pissed off in a past life is back in action or I just pick sucky companies to try and do business with.
I'm not going to rant on that yet though, it's not resolved yet. I'm eerily superstitious and I don't want to cause any negativity to flow my way with this, if it ever stops busting the balls I don't have it will be a great thing.
So I've been keeping my mind off it trying to come up with the songs for this week's show on Mango Radio. Now that the Grand Guru has given me the ok to expand past the 80s it's like a whole new world. I love 80s music more than life but my musical 'root' are in the 70s so a few 70s shows will really be fun.
(in an effort to not overload the main page, the rest of the warble lies inside) But I seem to have a problem here. I have way too much music. No one wants 5 hours of WebKittyn, hell *I* don't even want 5 hours of me. It's not really 5 hours but it's way too long. I should cap it at 2 hours tops but all these kickass songs are staring at me like little kids waiting to see which ones get picked last.. Yah, put that pipe down, Kittyn. Just because you're looking at 70s stuff doesn't mean fire up the hookah.
Once again my life is completely split in two places. The crap I've been putting off for the past 3 years is getting done at an amazingly fast pace. Once this latest horror story is resolved I can really come out with something good and something big. On the flip side, I'm getting way too much shit from the Gotard for stuff that isn't my fault and it's taking a toll on my frayed sanity. I'm not sleeping much but for this there is Vivarin.
It's Sunday, I don't think anyone would care if I did nothing all day but read the NY Times and the local paper and lounge with the cats. Feh, I spent way too much time on that. I need to organise my head, get my thoughts in order.
That's what the Warbles is for.
Huzzah.
<-- Steal me!
