Pre-Spring Motivational Mood Music

At the request of a friend, I'm posting what I consider my 'pre-Spring motivational mood music' that keeps me working on crap when I'd rather be out in the park feeding pigeons and gazing at strangers. Reviving optimistic music for a new start and the Spring rebirth. It's all about symbolism and lots of St. John's Wort.

I don't know if it was the music, the mojo or the SAM-e but damn, the mood and the mindset are definitely back to a point they haven't been in close to a year. These are power songs, psyche songs, salvation songs.

Moody Blues - Lovely to See You Again
Moody Blues - The Story in Your Eyes
Ace Frehley - Back in the NY Groove
Gene Loves Jezebel - Motion of Love
Peter Godwin - Images of Heaven
Little River Band - Cool Change
Alabama - Give Me One More Shot
Boston - Hitch a Ride
Bruce Springsteen - Badlands
The Call - I Still Believe
The Eagles - Peaceful Easy Feeling
ELO - Do Ya
Erasure - Star
Erasure - Hideaway
Icehouse - Electric Blue
Jimmy Buffet - Changes in Lattitudes
Joe Jackson - I’m the Man
Judas Priest - Love Bites
Justin Hayward & John Lodge - Saved By The Music
King Africa - Salta 2000
Meat Loaf - Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Fire
Marshall Tucker Band - Heard it in a Love Song
Moby - Extreme Ways
Neil Diamond - Desiree
Queen - Killer Queen
Simon & Garfunkel - I am a Rock
Squeeze- Another Nail for my Heart
Squeeze - Pulling Mussels from a Shell
Split Enz- History Never Repeats
Split Enz - One Step Ahead
Tim Curry - I Do the Rock
Todd Rundgren & Utopia - The Road to Utopia
X-Japan - Say Anything
Yaz - Nobody’s Diary
Yaz - Only You
Ultravox - Dancing with Tears in My Eyes
Ultravox - Vienna
Ultravox - Reap the Wild Wind

Thanks for asking, hope they work for you.  It’s all about the mind and the mojo.

“For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
that it aint no sin to be glad you’re alive.
I want to find one face that aint lookin’ through me,
I want to find one place, I want to spit in the face of these badlands..”
