Quick Update, All I Can Handle
The burial was today.
I also discovered some really gorgeous flowers that came for my mother and I. Thank you, Tony. You'd be amazed how the simple act of opening a box of flowers or basket or whatever can provide a few moments of distraction and even a smile and those precious moments are to be cherished.

I'm not dealing well. I have a lot of people to thank for their words and I want to write about it but I just can't handle it yet.
So please know that I deeply appreciate every kind word, every thought, every prayer and every bit of reaching out that is coming my way. I'm doing the best I can but I don't know if it's good enough.
after-edit. A few people have been asking friends for my address to send cards and my friends have been asking me if it's alright. I appreciate them being there to do that for me but it's alright.
